Congratulations to this year’s Water Awareness Youth Art Contest winners!
Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s contest! We also appreciate the community for voting for their favorites – see our 13 winners below. All artwork focused on the theme of "Reliable Water for Today and Tomorrow" and in multiple languages! Each winning entry will receive a $75 gift card, the original artwork framed with a certificate of appreciation, and advance copies of the printed calendar. An awards ceremony will be held at the regular meeting of the Board of Directors on October 5.

Every year, we challenge the youth in our communities to learn about their public drinking water system and illustrate the value of water. Winning artwork is featured in our annual wall calendar. The contest is open to children ages 8 to 18 years who reside or attend school in the Contra Costa Water District service area, which includes Antioch, Bay Point, Brentwood, Clayton, Clyde, Concord, Martinez, Oakley, Pacheco, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, Port Costa and Walnut Creek.
