    Learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about lake fishing. From bait and knots to trolling and cleaning, our experienced staff will provide tips to help you reel in a big one. Clinics are tailored to participants’ skill levels. Open to all ages. Reservations are not required, but recommended. Call the Marina at (925) 371-2628. Clinics are held the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Los Vaqueros Marina.

  1. Demonstration Food Forest Installation Workshop- DAY 2

    February 1, 2020, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM @ Benicia

    This public, hands-on installation workshop series will create a demonstration food forest garden in Benicia, creating an opportunity to learn about rainwater capture, simple greywater systems that reuse household water and how to plant and mulch for a waterwise garden that builds healthy soil and yields food. DAY 2: Saturday, Feb. 1 – Greywater Learn how to install a three-way valve, route used water from the laundry machine out into the landscape and prepare the landscape to receive that greywater.

  2. Basic Landscape Design Principles for Small Spaces

    There are many factors that go into designing a beautiful, useful garden. This workshop will cover many of the different factors you need to consider and help you navigate the process of refurbishing a bed or designing a whole new garden. Have a small front, side or back garden and don’t know what to do? Cricket Riley, Landscape Design Consultant from RBG Nursery, will go over how to create that perfect ‘jewel box’ of a space as well as cover plant suggestions from their Nursery that create big impact in small spaces.
