CCWD was actively engaged in providing constructive input throughout the development of the Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP) / California WaterFix (CWF), continually protecting our customers water supply.
2007
- May 16, 2007: CCWD Board of Directors Adopt Resolution No. 07-12 (PDF) supporting development of the BDCP and authorizing CCWD to execute the BDCP Planning Agreement.
- August 3, 2007: CCWD signs on to the BDCP Planning Agreement (PDF).
2008
- March 24, 2008: CCWD sends Comment Letter on first BDCP Notice of Intent (PDF).
- May 30, 2008: CCWD sends Comment Letter on second BDCP Notice of Intent and BDCP Notice of Preparation (PDF).
- July 25, 2008: CCWD sends Comment Letter on BDCP modeling assumptions (PDF).
- December 18, 2008: CCWD sends Comment Letter on draft conservation strategy for BDCP (PDF).
2009
- May 14, 2009: CCWD sends Comment Letter on revised BDCP Notice of Preparation (PDF).
- July 2, 2009: CCWD sends Comment Letter on revised draft conservation strategy for BDCP (PDF).
- September 16, 2009: CCWD sends Comment Letter on BDCP operational parameters and effects analysis (PDF).
- December 10, 2009: CCWD sends Joint Comment Letter on BDCP modeling (PDF), including City of Antioch and North Delta Water Agency.
2010
- June 4, 2010: CCWD sends Joint Comment Letter on recent BDCP accomplishments and remaining tasks (PDF), including Defenders of Wildlife, Environmental Defense Fund, North Delta Water Agency, and The Bay Institute.
2011
- February 2, 2011: CCWD sends Letter to Jerry Meral (CNRA) regarding value of CCWD assets and concerns about potential impacts of the BDCP on these assets (PDF).
- November 16, 2011: CCWD sends Comment Letter on BDCP Memorandum of Agreement (PDF).
2013
- February 7, 2013: CCWD sends Joint Comment Letter on potential impacts of the BDCP on CVP contractors (PDF), including East Bay Municipal Utility District, Friant Water Authority, Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District, Regional Water Authority, San Joaquin River Water Authority, and Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority.
2014
- July 25, 2014: CCWD sends Comment Letter on BDCP Draft EIR/EIS and Draft HCP/NCCP (PDF).
2015
- October 30, 2015: CCWD sends Comment Letter on BDCP Partially Recirculated Draft EIR/EIS (PDF).
2016
- March 1, 2016: CCWD sends Joint Comment Letter on potential financial impacts of the BDCP on CVP contractors (PDF), including City of Folsom, City of Roseville, East Bay Municipal Utility District, El Dorado Irrigation District, Friant North Authority, Friant Water Authority, Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District, Placer County Water Agency, Reclamation District 108, San Joaquin River Water Authority, San Juan Water District, South Valley Water Association, and Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority.
- March 24, 2016: CCWD and DWR execute Settlement Agreement (PDF).
- April 6, 2016: CCWD Board of Directors receive and discuss Report on Settlement Agreement (PDF).
- April 11, 2016: CCWD General Manager, Jerry Brown, provides perspective on Settlement Agreement.
2020
- April 17, 2020: CCWD sends Comment Letter on the Notice of Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Delta Conveyance Project (PDF).
- October 20, 2020: CCWD sends Comment Letter on the Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for construction of the Proposed Delta Conveyance Project (PDF).
2023
- July 26, 2023: CCWD and DWR execute updated Settlement Agreement (PDF).
