The expanded Los Vaqueros Dam. Completed in 2012 the reservoir can store 160,000 acre-feet of water.

Los Vaqueros is known as one of the finest trout fishing lakes in the Bay Area.
Construction of the original Los Vaquero Dam. To orient yourself, look for the curving access road in the middle of the picture. This is the road that now leads to the top of the dam.
Los Vaqueros is a great place to hike, with more than 55 miles of trails.
