Urban Water Management Plan

The Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) is an important long term planning document for the District and is updated at least every five years in accordance with the Urban Water Management Planning Act. The UWMP provides information on the District’s water supply and demand forecasts, water shortage contingency planning, and other ongoing activities to ensure adequate water supply for existing and future demands.

CCWD held a public hearing on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, to accept comments on its Draft Urban Water Management Plan 2020 (PDF), which was developed in compliance with the State of California’s Urban Water Management Planning Act which is codified under the California Water Code Section 10610 et seq.
