Registration
Step 1. Register: Use the Vendor Registration Form to register your company. You may choose from different categories of interest in which you would like to conduct business with us.
Step 2. Get Notified: In order to receive email notifications when new Bids, Requests for Quotations/Qualifications (RFQs), and Request for Proposals (RFPs) are produced pertaining to those categories, select your categories of interest on our notifications page. Sign up to receive a text message or email when new bids are added!
Public Works Contractor Registration Notice
- No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works (construction) project unless registered with DIR.
- No contractor or subcontractor may work on a public works (construction) project unless registered with DIR.
- No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works (construction) project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
Bidders (and their subcontractors listed on the Designation of Subcontractors List) must provide an extract (pdf) with bid showing their active DIR registration number. Obtain an extract.

Contractor/Consultant Safe Practices Handbook
We require all contractors working at District facilities to read our Contractor/Consultant Safe Practices Handbook (PDF), and sign and submit an acknowledgement form to the District. All contractors' employees must have access to this handbook.
