Download the tour onto your IPhone or borrow one of our free MP3 players and take this fun hike.
The Contra Costa Water District’s Dave Huey and Mary Shea will tell you all about this fascinating area of the watershed; with its ponds, oak goves and links to people who lived here more than 10,000 years ago.
Start at the John Muir Interpretive Center's back porch looking over the dam. Then walk at your own pace and follow the blue and green flags on our tour. The trail is about two miles long, has three hills and is of moderate difficulty.
If you plan to go to Los Vaqueros and take the hike, download the podcast before you leave home. Cell phone reception at the watershed is not always reliable.
