This weather data is collected from the Los Vaqueros weather station in the Los Vaqueros Watershed. This remote access weather station (RAWS) is located at an elevation of 1,100 feet and one mile southeast of the reservoir. A second CCWD weather station is located at an elevation of 2,000 feet southwest of the reservoir near Mallory Ridge. Both stations were installed --and are maintained -- by Los Vaqueros Watershed Staff and linked by satellite to the National Fire Weather System.

The primary purpose of these stations is to collect fire weather data during the fire season to allow prediction of daily fire weather severity.

Other RAWS stations in the East Bay are also available here.

For more information on conditions, call the Marina at: (925) 371-2628.
