|
Water Treatment Plant Operators (WTPOs) play a very critical role. WTPOs are responsible for the operation of water treatment equipment (including ozone generation and feed systems), collection and testing of water samples, monitoring and adjusting chemical feed equipment for proper operation, planning and implementing plant rate changes, and all aspects of GAC filter operations. CCWD has two treatment plants, located in Concord and Oakley, CA. CCWD will have positions open at both facilities over the next several months.

*High School diploma or GED
*2 years experience in water operations or maintenance
*Department of Health Service treatment grade-three (T-3) certificate
*Valid California Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record
*Successful candidate must pass a pre-employment exam including drug/alcohol screen and a criminal background check
