Closing Your Account

There is no charge for closing an account. It can be done over the phone (call 925-688-8044 and ask for Customer Service) or in person at the District Center. The following information will be necessary:

• your name
• account number
• address of account
• when you want service discontinued
• forwarding address for your closing bill
