What are my options for paying my water bill?
You now have a number of options to pay your water bill with the Contra Costa Water District.
Please select the option that best meets your needs and convenience including paperless billing.
Options Free of Charge:

By Mail You always have the option of mailing in a check with your payment coupon using the blue return envelope that comes in the mail with your bi-monthly bill. If you use paperless billing and wish to pay by mail, include a copy of your payment coupon and send your payment to: Contra Costa Water District, P.O. Box 1430, Suisun City, CA 94585-4430.

EasyPay Direct Debit Sign up for this free and convenient service and your bill amount will automatically be debited from your checking account each billing cycle.

Banking Online Bill Pay Services Most banks offer electronic online bill pay services free of charge. Contact your bank directly for instructions, and remember to select CCWD or Contra Costa Water District from the vendor selection menu. Please make sure that the address used for payment via your bank’s online bill pay program is : Contra Costa Water District, P.O. Box 1430, Suisun City, CA 94585-4430. Using an incorrect address will delay your payment.

Drop Box Drop boxes with payment envelopes are available for your convenience: one located at the drive through circle in front of the CCWD District Center building, (1331 Concord Avenue, Concord).and one on the wall, next to the front door. For security
reasons, do not deposit cash in the drop boxes.

In Person at the CCWD Payment Center The center is located in the lobby of CCWD's District Center Office, 1331 Concord Avenue, Concord. You may pay by cash, check, or credit card. The center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but is closed on holidays.
New Free Online Options for Paperless Billing and Reviewing Your Bill

Paperless Billing Once you sign up for this secure free service, you can view your bills on your computer anytime. The service will notify you by e-mail when a bill is ready for viewing, offer you the option of receiving only paperless electronic bills in the future, and allow you to pay your bill online. Sign-up here, you will need your current bill's account number (omit the dashes when you enter), billing zip code and customer ID code (what's this?) to register. (Please note: If you choose to pay your paperless bill with a credit card, debit card, or electronic check you will be charged a $3.95 transaction fee. There is a limit of $450 for each transaction).

Enhanced Payment Options – Service Fee Charged Per Transaction:
The District has partnered with a third-party vendor (Paymentus) to offer two new voluntary payment options. Both options provide added convenience and increased security.

Via the Internet This link on the District’s website connects you to a secure website where you have the option to make an online payment by credit card, debit card, or electronic check.(1) Paymentus limits each transaction to a maximum of $450.

Via Telephone. Payment by phone is now done via a dedicated telephone line to an Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) system.The phone number is (877) 506-3121. This new method will allow payment by credit card, debit car or electronic check 24 hours per day, seven days per week.(1) Paymentus limits each transaction to a maximum of $450.
(1) A $3.95 transaction fee will be charged by Paymentus for payment via these options.
