Starting Jan. 1, 2008, CCWD and PG&E are working together to offer a $125 or $200 rebate to CCWD customers who purchase and install qualified high-efficiency clothes washers.
Rebate Eligibility for a 2008 Combined Water and Energy Rebate The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) provides a product list of clothes washers.
When viewing this table, please note:
- CEE Tier 1 does not qualify for a rebate
- CEE Tier 2* qualifies for a $125 rebate
- CEE Tier 3* qualifies for a $200 rebate
*Clothes washers containing silver ion technology do not qualify for a rebate from CCWD.
Qualified washer must be installed in the Contra Costa Water District Service Area: Antioch, Bay Point, Clayton, Clyde, Concord, Martinez (parts), Oakley, Pacheco, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill (parts), Port Costa, and Walnut Creek (parts).
Qualified washer must be installed at a site with either natural gas or electricity distributed by PG&E.
Qualified washer must be purchased between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008.
Rebate application must be submitted within 90 days of purchase date.
