RESIDENTIAL HIGH-EFFICIENCY CLOTHES WASHER REBATES

The High-Efficiency Washing Machine Rebate Program provides a combined rebate of up to $200 from CCWD and PG&E for District customers who purchase qualified high-efficiency clothes washers.


 

CCWD and PG&E are working together to offer rebates up to $200 to CCWD customers who purchase and install qualified high-efficiency clothes washers.

Rebate Amounts & Eligibility for a 2014 Residential High-Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate

  • The clothes washer must be a qualified model. Visit www.waterenergysavings.com for qualifying product lists.

    • $200 rebate:  A combined water and energy rebate of $200 from CCWD and PG&E for purchasing and installing a qualified Energy Star Most Efficient (ESME) model.

    • $50 rebate: A $50 rebate from CCWD for purchasing and installing a Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) Tier 3 model.

    Note: Clothes washers containing silver ion technology do not qualify for a rebate from CCWD

  • Qualified washer must be installed in the Contra Costa Water District Service Area: Antioch, Bay Point, Clayton, Clyde, Concord, Martinez (parts), Oakley, Pacheco, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill (parts), Port Costa, and Walnut Creek (parts).

  • Qualified washer must be purchased between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2014

  • Rebate application must be submitted within 60 days of purchase
