Deadline to Apply is April 9

Effective March 15, 2010, a vacancy exists on the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa Water District due to the resignation of Division 1 Director Elizabeth R. Anello.

On March 17, 2010, the Board decided that it will appoint a successor, and confirmed that Friday, April 9, 2010 is the deadline for applications. Look here for more information on applying for this position.

Candidates selected will be notified on Friday, April 16 and invited to present their qualifications and be interviewed on Wednesday, April 21.

  The Board intends to appoint the new Director at the same meeting. The appointed Division 1 Director will have to stand for election on the November 2, 2010 general election. The appointed new director will hold office until the result of that election is certified.
