JOHN MUIR INTERPRETIVE CENTER at LOS VAQUEROS
TELLS THE STORY OF THE WATERSHED

The John Muir Interpretive Center at Los Vaqueros is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A trail next to the center goes up to the top of the dam.

The John Muir Interpretive Center at Los Vaqueros has exhibits on the dam, wildlife and Native Americans.

The center is located next to Los Vaqueros Dam, to the left in the background.

The John Muir Interpretive Center at Los Vaqueros is open to the public three days a week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Located next to the dam, the center tells the history of the Los Vaqueros area, shows how the dam was built and describes the many animals that make the watershed their home.

On Monday through Thursday and sometimes on Fridays, the center is used for school programs.

Teachers! CCWD has many educational programs at Los Vaqueros for students.
